A doctor is available at a private practice on Mondays and at a medical center on Fridays. When you plan a visit, a name alone is not enough: you need the right location, a suitable day and a reminder of what you discussed last time.
For a medical sales representative, these details soon add up. ISF Agenda keeps them with the client’s profile, so addresses, regular visiting days and appointments all belong to the same professional relationship.
One client, several locations
Imagine Dr. Elena R. You meet her at a practice in Bologna and, on another day, at a medical center in Casalecchio di Reno. She has two workplaces, but you are still working with the same person.
In ISF Agenda, you can add several locations to one client profile. Contact details, notes and appointment history stay with the client, while each address holds the information you need to visit that location. If your next appointment is at her other practice, the notes from earlier visits are still there.
This reflects how your territory works in practice: the same people may be available in different places during the week.
Use visiting days and the map to plan your week
Knowing where a client works is a start. Knowing when they usually accept visits at that location makes the address more useful. For each location, ISF Agenda lets you record visiting days and time slots: Monday for Elena’s practice in Bologna and Friday for the medical center in this example.
The map shows addresses with the selected day configured as a visiting day. A location without that day configured will not appear in the view. You can narrow the view by city, medical specialty or the tags you use to organize clients. This helps you answer a practical question: “Who could I visit in this area on the day I am planning?”
These regular visiting hours help you identify possibilities. You still need to arrange and confirm a specific appointment with the client.
Keep the details of each visit together
When you arrange a visit, you can link the appointment to the client and one of their locations. The selected address then sits alongside the date and meeting details, with the appointment connected to the main client profile.
After the visit, your notes, the products discussed and any materials linked to the appointment become part of the client’s history. When you see Elena again a few weeks later, even at another location, you can review what you recorded and pick up the conversation from there.
Start with the contacts you already have
Many medical sales representatives already keep their client list in Excel. ISF Agenda lets you import clients from an Excel file, so that existing list can become the starting point for planning your visits in the app.
You can then add useful details as you work: locations, regular visiting days, appointments and notes for the next conversation.
Together, these details make the week easier to plan. The profile tells you who you are visiting, the map shows where they are available, and the calendar records when you have arranged to meet. Afterward, the notes, products and promotional items linked to the appointment help you prepare for the next visit.
