If you have used the classic version of ISF Agenda for years, you have built a valuable record: client profiles, practice locations, notes from visits and materials linked to those conversations. When you move to the current version, you want to bring that work with you.

The import process for a classic-version backup carries over the connections that make your visit history useful, as well as the client details themselves.

Bring client details and locations together

Think of Dr. Elena R., who accepts visits in Bologna on Mondays and in Casalecchio on Fridays. You have recorded her locations, visiting days and tags that help organize your work. Importing a backup from the classic version can bring these details across with her profile, so you can continue working with familiar people and places.

The import also includes medical specialties and monthly goals supported by the backup format. After the move, review the profiles and update them to reflect how you work today.

Keep earlier visits useful for future ones

The import includes appointments recorded in the classic version, together with their notes. If products or promotional items were linked to a visit, those associations can be carried across with the appointment.

Before a new meeting, you can review what you discussed during earlier contacts, find the materials mentioned and decide what to follow up on. You can then continue recording new interactions in the current app.

Check a few representative records after importing

Each backup contains a different mix of information. Keep a copy of the original backup. After importing, check a client with several addresses, an appointment with notes, and a visit with linked products or promotional items. Review visiting days and monthly goals too. Confirm that the details you rely on are where you expect them before returning to your daily work.

If you are starting with a simple contact list instead, use the Excel client import. Importing a classic-version backup is the way to bring across the connected history you have already built in ISF Agenda.
